Body Apocalypse; 600 rep BW Challenge

"The definition of stupidity is to do the same thing over and over and expect a different outcome."

Every minute is an opportunity for a fresh start. Make sure to make it fresh, not only a repetition of your past failures. To make it fresh, you need to think through what you just did that went wrong - and make a strategy to a different approach.


Maybe your only failure is that you give up too fast? You expect the visual result to appear in the mirror too early? If you have a history of working out, you might see fast changes. But if you are brand new at this, you may need to wait for it. It may be you need to train your body into increasing muscle mass first - building basic strenght. And that may take time. Be patient. The scale might be standing perfectly still - but your fitness could still be changing. 

It may be also that you need to be more careful with your diet. What you eat is important to take into consideration when you try to change your body. If your eat too little your body has nothing to build more muscle from. You will have very slow or no progress at all! If you eat too much you will see changes in your progress - gettin stronger and more muscle. But there might not be happening a lot on the scale. If you eat too little protein your muslegrowth (definition, girls - our muscles does not grow much) will be slow, even if you can increase in strength. If you eat too little carbs you may feel tired and may not be able to push as hard in the workouts.


Try having a balanced diet. Make the food choices you know is right.

And drink a lot of water!

If you can really believe that change will come, hold on to that belief. Because it will come. You CAN change your body. You CAN have the results you wish for. No matter your genes or your past experience. It takes toughness. It takes dedication. It takes willpower.

Push hard. You decide your fitness. You decide your results.

Be out of breath. Push through even if the workout seems too much. Sweat and hurt. Know that what you are doing is your decision. You are making a change.

600 Rep BodyWeight Challenge

Get your ass togheter and test your self - are you up to this? I had so much fun putting together this WO. It's all bodyweight and it is challenging your core to the end of apocalypse...

If you are a beginner, I recomend that you stick to half the workout only doing the workout for two rounds. If you are a bit more advanced I challenge you to do the whole workout of 4 rounds. You can do this!

Make sure you study the exercises first - så that you are sertain what is coming. A tip is to draw a stick-figure or some other symbol to remind you how the exercise is done.

20 Mountain Climbers
10 Twisting Push Up
20 Side Plank Knee Touch
10 Toe Split Touch
20 Side Plank Knee Touch
10 Rollup Pistol Jump
20 Sumo Knee Crunch
10 Pike Press Rocket Launch
20 Dizzy Crab

Make sure you track your time!

I did 2 rounds in 13:36, and all four in 4 rounds: 28:59
